NZ Manuka Honey, Arataki, UMF15+, MG0 512+

Arataki's pure Manuka honey is a great tasting and healthy way of treating common health complaints such as colds and flu.

You can be confident that the honey has significant anti-bacterial potency because independent laboratory testing has rated this honey as having a unique manuka factor (i.e. UMF) of 15+

That means this honey is equally as potent as a 15% solution of the standard laboratory bleach known as phenol.

A UMF rating also means that the honey meets with the various quality standards set by the UMF Honey Association, owner of the UMF trademark.

For those more familiar with the new MGO (Methylglyoxal) rating system, a 15+ UMF rating may be considered equivalent to a 512 MGO rating.

Or in other words there will be 512 milligrams of MGO in each kilogram of this honey.
