Pure beeswax candle, 20cm pillar

Crafted from pure, natural beeswax using traditional methods, this hand-made, extra large , 20cm tall candle (or 8.5 inches) will burn for up to 45 hours. 

And while it burns not only will this candle provide a soft, natural light and pleasing aroma, it will also act as an ionizer, producing negatively charged ions. 

Traditionally used for lighting and to create a suitable ambience in the altar of larger christian churches and cathedrals, candles in this tall round style are called roman pillars (or just pillars).

Natural beeswax candles are, of course, more expensive than their artificial alternatives.

But unlike cheap paraffin candles, they don't produce black carbon soot, or give off toxic and/or unpleasant fumes, and they last much, much longer.
