Tasmanian Manuka honey, Cradle Mountain, 20kg tub, MGO 75+
Manuka honey is produced from the flowers of the Manuka bush (also known as Leptospermum scoparium) which is native to Tasmania. It is also found in certain parts of southern Australia and throughout New Zealand.
Scientific studies have found that much Manuka honey has natural therapeutic properties. These include antibacterial and antimicrobial properties that make Manuka honey particularly effective inthe treatment of colds, sore throats and mouth ulcers. Skin ailments and wound healing may also be aided by the topical application of manuka honey.
Methylglyoxal (or MGO for short) is the natural component of Manuka honey that scientists have identified as responsible for most of its antibacterial power.
The higher the Methylglyoxal level, the greater the antibacterial effect it has.
This honey has been tested by an independent laboratory and shown to have a rating of 75+. So each kilogram of the honey contains at least 75 mgs of MGO.
This 20kg bulk tub is made from food-grade plastic and features a built in carry handle. As with all bulk honey it is normally supplied in a solid (i.e. crystallized) form. Please advise if it is required liquid.Please note delivery is direct from the warehouse in Tasmania using Australia Post's parcel post service. Delivery will normally take take 7-10 working days.

As a guide, delivery will add an extra $30 to Melbourne, $40 to Sydney or Adelaide and $50 to Brisbane. Delivery addresses outside of capital cities may add an extra $10-$15.
